I went to the London College of Communication https://www.arts.ac.uk/subjects/journalism-pr-media-and-publishing/undergraduate/ba-hons-journalism-lcc and have no regrets. It was very hands-on course where we spent the 3rd year in a real-life newsroom within the college producing a weekly paper that was published by News of the World. If you're in the US, Emerson College has a great reputation. I think the most important thing is that you get the practical experience, but just theory and writing essays. It's always encouraging as a student to see your byline and words in print.
